Eating Returns at Disneyland’s Downtown Disney

Back in December, California’s Governor, Gavin Newsome, enacted a 3-week stay-at-home-order because of a spike in COVID-19 cases (which was causing hospital ICUs to reach capacity).  The order was also a ban on onsite dining which affected Downtown Disney.  If you bought any food, you had to take it off the property to eat it (a major pain in the butt for all visitors). 😞

Improvements in the state were not met and the original order was extended into January . . . until yesterday (Monday 1/25/21).    The ban was lifted and guests to Downtown Disney and Buena Vista Street within Disney’s California Adventure were once again able to enjoy eating food surrounded by the magic of Disney theming!

Here’s Spencer from Best Life and Beyond & Adam “The Woo” once again “consuming” food and beverage at Downtown Disney! 😃

Not all restaurants are open as of yet, and indoor dining is still restricted . . . but the current situation is a whole lot better than what it has been in recent weeks.
