Disneyland will be allowed to reopen as soon as the 1st of April at 15% capacity. Disneyland, Disney California Adventure plus other California amusement and theme parks will be able to open with rides and attractions as soon as next month if Orange County improves to the Red Tier on the state’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy reopening rules.
Ken Potrock, president of Disneyland Resort, said that they are encouraged that theme parks now have a path toward reopening this spring, getting thousands of people back to work, and greatly helping neighboring businesses and our entire community.
Here are some of the new details on California’s four-tiered system:
Capacity will be limited to 15% for California parks in the red tier; the cap rises to 25% once a county progresses to the orange tier and 35% upon reaching the most lenient tier, yellow.
Purple Tier (widespread rate of more than 8% positive test rate) = Closed.

Keep in mind, so long as the statewide travel advisory remains in place, the parks can only accept visitors from within the state of California.
