Disney announced today that the new Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure ride in Epcot’s France Pavillian will officially be opening on October 1, 2021, to correspond to the opening date of Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary.

Guests will feel like they’ve shrunk to the size of Chef Remy as they scurry through Gusteau’s famous restaurant on a wild adventure for the whole family (no height requirement!). Based on Disney and Pixar’s Academy Award®-winning “Ratatouille,” the experience will be part of a newly expanded France pavilion inside EPCOT that will also open Oct. 1.

In this new area of the France Pavilion, guests will be transported into a fanciful version of Paris that feels straight out of the animated film!   As you can see in the picture below, the “city of lights” will be an area of Epcot that visitors will love for generations to come!

Besides Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure opening, Disney will be bringing new experiences to all four theme parks in honor of the 50th “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” anniversary.  This milestone is such a big deal, they’ve even coined a new word – “EARidescence” – to describe the new park decorations that will shimmer and sparkle all day and into the night!
