TRON Lightcycle/Run to have a soft opening before its official opening date

After waiting 5 years for construction to be complete (it officially began early 2018), the highly anticipated ride, TRON Lightcycle/Run, is set to officially open in the Tomorrowland area of Magic Kingdom on April 4th! However, Disney has announced that guests will also have an opportunity to ride the attraction early during a soft opening that will be taking place from March 20th to April 2nd. Jungle Cruise Refurbishment Coming Soon

Disneyland & Walt Disney World will be changing the Jungle Cruise.  Floating around through the jungle and listening to your skipper crack jokes has always been fun, but many feel that something new is much needed for this opening day attraction. Disney Parks Blog says that they want this attraction to be able to “better reflect the value and diversity of the world around us.”  (Basically meaning that they want to change any of the negative depictions of native people).
